Day 1: Arrive in Prague, Czech Republic
Welcome to the Czech Republic! Check into your hotel. The rest of the day is free for you to explore the city with the help of the CosmosGo app. Tonight, meet your Tour Director and travel companions.
Day 2: Prague
The wealth of Gothic and Baroque architecture perhaps inspired Dvorak and Smetana, both Prague composers. Your included guided sightseeing tour features landmarks such as the Jewish Quarter, Charles Bridge, and the Old Town Square with the Astronomical Clock, built in 1410 with a sinister medieval figure of death who emerges to pull the bell cord. There’s so much more to explore! Discover the Castle District, the largest castle complex in the world, on an optional guided tour.

Day 3: Prague–Vienna, Austria
Travel from Bohemia into Moravia, then into Austria and on to Vienna, where the included sightseeing tour starts with the State Opera, Parliament, and the Town Hall. Stop for a stroll in Heroes’ Square to view the Hofburg Imperial Palace.

Day 4: Vienna
Vienna, Austria’s capital, lies in the country’s east on the Danube River. Its artistic and intellectual legacy was shaped by residents including Mozart, Beethoven, and Sigmund Freud. The city is also known for its Imperial palaces and the Museums Quarter district, where in a mix of historic and contemporary buildings, one can admire works by Egon Schiele, Gustav Klimt, and other artists.

Day 5: Vienna-Bratislava, Slovakia-Budapest, Hungary
Leave the city of “Waltz” and spend some time at leisure in Bratislava, Slovakia’s capital city. The pedestrian-only, 18th-century old town is known for its lively bars and cafes. Perched atop a hill, the reconstructed Bratislava Castle overlooks Bratislava’s historic old town and the Danube. Continue traveling along the Danube and head for the Hungarian border and its capital city, Budapest. This evening why not join the optional Danube Dinner cruise - sit back, relax, enjoy dinner, and take in the views of Parliament, Fisherman’s Bastion, and Castle Hill.

Budapest is a treasure trove of architectural wonders, from Gothic to Baroque; Neoclassical to Art Nouveau, but it is also full of history, a food capital and surprisingly rich in thermal waters.
