Job Opening: IT Support Specialist (Bahamas)
We are looking for a skilled and proactive IT Support Specialist to join our Bahamas team.
The position would be a great match for someone with at least three (3) years of practical experience in IT support and a strong grasp of different technologies. The ideal candidate will be confident in troubleshooting a wide range of hardware, software, and networking issues. If you enjoy solving problems and providing effective support to end-users, have excellent communication skills, and the ability to work in both independent and collaborative work environments, we encourage you to apply.
Primary Responsibilities:-
- Identifying and resolving hardware and software issues, including those related to operating systems, applications, and network connectivity problems
- Delivering technical assistance to end-users through in-person assistance, phone support, or through remote support tools
- Installing, configuring, and maintaining desktops, laptops, printers, and other IT peripherals
- Supporting a range of technologies such as Windows, Microsoft 365, networking tools, and remote support software
Requirements:-
- A strong working knowledge of the Windows operating system
- Familiarity with remote desktop tools, VPNs, and network troubleshooting techniques
- Experience using helpdesk ticketing systems and managing IT assets
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Capacity to work independently and effectively manage multiple tasks
- Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license
Desirable Skills:
- Candidates should possess IT Certifications such as CompTIA A+ and Network+
Experience with any of the following technologies is a plus, but not mandatory:-
- Linux
- Sage
- WatchGuard
- Asterisk
- Ubiquiti
- Trams / Clientbase / Sabre / TimeTrex Attendance
