Savannah has 93 beautifully appointed rooms, all of which are fully air-conditioned and feature supremely comfortable beds and seating areas. The rooms also feature large TVs, hair dryers, tea or coffee making facilities, ironing boards & irons, security safes and free Internet access. Specific room furnishings may vary by room category. All of the bathrooms have a modern, minimalist finish.

Situated on the pristine South Coast of Barbados, Savannah Beach Hotel is a four star beach resort that easily ranks as one of the most idyllic destinations on the island. This restored 19th century Plantation House once predominantly featured brick construction and elegant cast-iron balconies. Great Britain's colonial architecture was rampant in Barbados from as early as the 17th century so it's easy to understand why this hotel is so roped into the anatomy of its environs.

In June 2011, The World Heritage Committee put a Heritage Stamp on the Historic Bridgetown and the Garrison areas. These sites were listed on the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization’s (UNESCO) World Heritage List. UNESCO’s website is quoted as describing Historic Bridgetown and its Garrison as “an outstanding example of British colonial architecture consisting of a well-preserved old town built in the 17th, 18th and 19th centuries, which testifies to the spread of Great Britain’s Atlantic colonial empire”.

Forget everything you’ve ever known or experienced about all-inclusive hotels... Savannah is distinctly different. It is an all-inclusive hotel with style! Dive in... Savannah is an excellent choice for a relaxed Caribbean holiday. It is a Caribbean paradise that simply must be experienced!

Rachel's Bar & Restaurant

While Barbados undoubtedly offers an extensive range of dining options, Rachel’s Bar & Restaurant at the Savannah Beach Hotel offers a unique cultural dining experience which has bestowed it a special place in the hearts of visitors and locals alike. The restaurant is but one hallmark of this beautiful property, which is set in the World Heritage-designated Garrison Savannah area, a mere seven minutes from historic Bridgetown.

History certainly abounds at the Savannah Beach Hotel as the name Rachel’s was inspired by that of the infamous Barbadian slave-turned-hotelier Rachel Pringle. The ever-present historic feeling is a reminder of the deeply embedded richness of culture that pervades the property. Rachel’s offers an authentic and enjoyable combination of history, island life, and culinary delights. Its open-air setting, complemented by the building’s coral stone walls and traditional jalousie louvers, offers a breathtaking elevated view of the hotel’s lushly landscaped meandering pools that lead straight into the Caribbean Sea.

Rachels is open every night. The dress code is elegant casual during the evening, with long pants required for gentlemen.
