The all-suite Avalon Siem Reap, one of our incredible new Suite Ships®, was specifically designed to offer the best cruise experience on the Mekong River. Launching in 2015 the ship has been meticulously crafted to offer all the modern features one would expect while retaining the colonial charm fitting to Vietnam and Cambodia. Carrying only 36 guests the ship offers an intimate small-ship cruise experience ensuring you can truly immerse yourself in the culture, people, and sights along the river. While the number of guests on the ship may be small the ship was purposely built as long and wide as other ships that carry twice as many guests so that spaces aren't cramped and crowded. From the air-conditioned Panorama Lounge to the open-air observation lounge there is plenty of seating and spots to relax. And no matter where you sit you will have a great view of the passing scenery. The design also allows her to be the only ship in the industry cruising all the way from Ho Chi Minh City to Siem Reap* (or vice versa). This eliminates over 7 hours of motorcoach travel time to and from your ship, which means you get to enjoy more cruising! *Cruising to Siem Reap is dependent on water levels.
