How to send money (Barbados, St Lucia & St Vincent)

  • Step 1
  • Visit any Going Places Travel office in Barbados, St Lucia or St Vincent, taking some personal identification with you (eg. passport, national ID or driver's licence). Two (2) ID's may be required as well as proof of address for any customers sending for the first time, for example, a utility bill, bank or credit card statement dated less than three months. 
  • Step 2
    Complete a simple ‘send’ form carefully and hand this to the MoneyGram agent along with the money you want to send and the transfer fee.
  • Step 3
    You will be given a reference number.
  • Step 4
    Contact the person to whom you’re sending the money, and give him or her the reference number. In just 10 minutes** the money will be ready to collect.

How to receive money (Barbados, St Lucia & St Vincent)

  • Step 1
    Ask the person who is sending you money to give you your reference number – this will allow the agent to find the transaction.
  • Step 2
    Visit any Going Places Travel office in St Vincent, St Lucia or Barbados, taking some valid identification (Passport, driver's license or national ID) and your reference number with you. 
  • Step 3
    Complete our simple ‘receive’ form and show your identification – once all is in order, your transaction may be processed and the receive amount given to you usually in local currency but some amounts may be given by cheque.
  • Please note: (1) If you have your reference number, there is no need to call us to verify that the money is there, please proceed to the nearest Going Places Travel branch to collect. (2) No one else can collect money on your behalf.
